Writer: Alan CarvalhoAlan Carvalho

The players of FC Laval 2009F, from the city of Laval, PLSJQ, are currently living an experience that will forever mark their sporting and personal journeys. On an exchange program in Spain, they are immersed in a routine of intensive training sessions and matches against some of the best youth women’s soccer teams in the country. And to start things off on the right foot, their first match on Spanish soil has already shown that our girls are ready to shine!

Yesterday, in the charming town of Santa Susana, Catalonia, FC Laval 2009F made their debut with a resounding victory: 6-1 against the local team, Saint Gabriel. It was an impressive performance that highlighted the talent and determination of these young athletes. From the first whistle, our players demonstrated ball control, tactical organization, and a winning mentality that energized everyone watching the match.

The lopsided scoreline reflects not only the technical quality of the girls but also the hard work of the coaches and technical staff supporting them. Every pass, every dribble, and every goal was the result of meticulous effort and preparation. And of course, the team spirit within the group deserves special mention, as they tackle this challenge with courage and solidarity.

Beyond the result on the field, this trip is a unique opportunity for the FC Laval 2009F players to learn and grow. Training and playing against teams from one of the strongest women’s soccer nations in the world is an experience that enriches not only their game but also their mindset and cultural understanding. They are discovering new training methods, absorbing different playing styles, and, of course, living their passion for soccer in one of the sport’s heartlands.

FC Laval 2009F proudly represents the city of Laval and PLSJQ in Spain, and this victory against Saint Gabriel is just the beginning. There are still many challenges ahead, but judging by the determination and talent of these young athletes, we can expect many more successes and memorable moments.

Congratulations, girls! Laval and the soccer world are watching you. May this experience be the first chapter of a story filled with glory and triumphs. Keep pushing forward, because your future looks as bright as this start in Catalonia!

Go, FC Laval 2009F! Your supporters are with you!
